Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>Arrangements have been finalized in Juba for the second edition of the Athletics Republican Championship (ARC) scheduled to take place from 24 to 25 November under the theme \u201cSports for Peace and Unity.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Thursday, South Sudan Athletics Federation Deputy President Simon Okeny revealed that all preparations have been concluded and he urged all stakeholders and well-wishers to provide support for the success of the event.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have completed all preparation to kick start the championships,\u201d he said. \u201cWe have addressed all the stakeholders to make this year\u2019s event a great success\u201d.<\/p>\n

Okeny noted that they have called on all the state governors and chief administrators of the three administrative areas to attend the championships, adding that most of the local athletics associations have arrived in Juba.<\/p>\n

In 2020, Wau, the capital of Western Bahr el Ghazal State, hosted the first edition of the Athletics Republican Championships.<\/p>\n
