The Malaysian champion is set to face off against South Sudan\u2019s own James Majok for the coveted title.<\/p>\n

Addressing reporters at Juba International Airport on Friday morning, Puro Okello Obob, the president of the South Sudan Kickboxing Federation (SSKF), emphasized the historical significance of the event.<\/p>\n

He encouraged Juba residents to show their support for the homegrown talent, stating, \u201cWe have the champion all the way from Malaysia, Jian Kai Chee, who arrived today at our Juba International Airport. He is going to be the sole challenger to James Majok. Make sure everyone is there tomorrow at 2 pm, but the doors will be opened from 1:00 pm.\u201d<\/p>\n

President Obob underscored the uniqueness of the occasion, noting that it marks the first time the African continent is hosting such an international tournament.<\/p>\n
