Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>Some children at Juba Orphanage (Photo: Alex Bullen)<\/b><\/p>\n The Managing Director of Juba Orphanage Home, Angello Kenyi, appealed to the government and well-wishers to bail out the centre as it faces financial challenges.<\/p>\n He noted that the facility has had many difficulties and needs assistance from people who are moved by God to support individuals who have lost their parents.<\/p>\n \u201cThere are many things that the children here are lacking, including school supplies, school fees for those who have completed senior high school and universities, treatment, food, clothing, and many other basic needs that a human being depends on,\u201d Mr. Kenyi said.<\/p>\n His appeal came after UAP Company donated some food and non-food items to the Juba Orphanage Home on Friday.<\/p>\n He mentioned a lack of food, electricity and clean water as other difficulties.<\/p>\n Angello Kenyi Samuel, Juba Orphanage Home Managing Director, spoke to The City Review on Friday (photo: Alex Bullen).<\/b><\/p>\n The centre has over 80 children, of whom 30 are female and 50 are male, according to the managing director.<\/p>\n Josphat Gakaya, the distribution manager at UAP, said that the donation was part of the company\u2019s celebration of International Women\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are celebrating Women\u2019s Day, so we decided to combine by just visiting the children\u2019s orphanage home and sharing with them what we have as they face a lot of challenges in the Centre,\u201d Gakaya said.<\/p>\n He urged the children at the centre to keep working hard to fulfil their aspirations of becoming teachers.<\/p>\n \u201cToday\u2019s situation will never be the same as tomorrow; however, much you have taught, maybe continue to do your best by listening to your caretakers as well as your teachers.\u201d<\/p>\n The food items donated by UAP Group include maize flow, cooking oil, beans, and milk, as well as games for kids such as football, among others.<\/p>\n Maize flour, cooking oil, beans, milk, and playing materials for kids like football are among the donated food and non-food items.<\/p>\n Source: The City Review South Sudan<\/b><\/p>\n For More News And Analysis About South-Sudan<\/a> Follow Africa-Press<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Alex Bullen Africa-Press – South-Sudan.
