Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>President Salva Kiir relieved and replaced seven officials in the Jonglei State government while revoking the names of eight MPs from the state legislature on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

In a Republican Decree read on SSBC, Kiir sacked Elizabeth Nyadak John, the state Minister of Information and government spokesperson, and appointed Marlin David Kuony Jany in her place.<\/p>\n

Ms. Marlin is the wife of the current SSPDF Spokesperson, Gen Lul Ruai Koang.<\/p>\n

Kiir also removed Atong Kuol from her position as Jonglei State Minister of Animal Resources and Fisheries.<\/p>\n

Atong, who previously served as the state Minister of Health, is the daughter of General Kuol Manyang, a Senior Advisor to President Kiir and senior member of SPLM party.<\/p>\n
