Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>South Sudan\u2019s Ambassador to China Monday Semaya Kumba on Wednesday presented his credentials to the King of Malaysia as the first non-resident Ambassador of South Sudan to Malaysia.<\/p>\n

The ceremony for the presentation of the Letter of Credence was held at the National Palace in Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim in the federal capital Kuala Lumpur, early Wednesday, March 20, 2024.<\/p>\n

Ambassador Monday Semaya Kumba who spoke to Eye Radio from Kuala Lumpur was accompanied by his accompanied by deputy Ambassador Joshua Franco Paul.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhile presenting my credentials, I joyfully took the same historic opportunity and conveyed greetings and best wishes from H. E. Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit, President of the Republic to his Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, the King of Malaysia, reassured him of President Salva\u2019s commitment and readiness to continue supporting the already existing bilateral relations between South Sudan and Malaysia for the best interest of our two governments and people,\u201d said AMB Monday.<\/p>\n

According to the ambassador, he also assured His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim of his readiness and commitment to continue enhancing the relations with Malaysia to the highest possible levels in different areas of cooperation.<\/p>\n

However, Ambassador Monday says, His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim received his letters of credence with a sense of happiness.<\/p>\n

He says His Majesty welcomed him to Malaysia and wished him health and success in the assignment and national duties.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim also conveyed greetings and best wishes to President Kiir.<\/p>\n

Further, His Majesty promised to work closely with President Salva Kiir Mayardit for the best benefit of the two sisterly countries.<\/p>\n
