Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>The Greater Pibor Administrator, Lokole Ame Bullen on Tuesday handed over three formerly abducted children to Central Equatoria State (CES) authorities.<\/p>\n

The children were received by Central Equatoria State governor, Emmanuel Adil.<\/p>\n

Addressing the media on Tuesday, both officials reaffirmed their commitment to recover all the abducted children and hand them over to their biological parents.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe call for more collaborative efforts to end the menace in totality as they continue with sustained government\u2019s efforts to bring the perpetrators to book to face the full force of the law. Also, CES government calls for peaceful coexistence with neighboring communities along their respective border,\u201d said Adil.<\/p>\n

He said handing over the formerly abducted children further highlights the importance of collaboration between two sisterly states.<\/p>\n

\u201cCES demonstrates willingness to work together towards common goals such as peace, security and reconciliation,\u201d stressed Adil.<\/p>\n

Bullen said the children abducted during violent confrontations between communities in the region were safely returned to Central Equatoria authorities.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe handover of these abductees children signifies a commitment to resolving conflicts and promoting stability in South Sudan,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

Early this month, Pibor officials handed over eight children to CES as part of efforts to tackle conflict-related issues and promote peace-building in South Sudan.<\/p>\n
