Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>The governor of Central Equatoria State, Emmanuel Adil Anthony, has called on believers across South Sudan to strengthen unity for the progress of the country.<\/p>\n

In his message to the Muslim community on the eve of the Eid-ul-Fitr, Governor Adil congratulated the Muslim community for adhering to their norms and called for unity among believers.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn behalf of the people, the entire government, and on my own behalf, I urge all to remain united as we strengthen the bond that links us,\u201d Adil said.<\/p>\n

He appealed to the citizens to continue to coexist and live peacefully.<\/p>\n

He added that \u201cfaith in Allah among the Muslim community is what strengthens them through the fasting season.\u201d<\/p>\n

The governor, however, encouraged the citizens to embark on agriculture to boost the economy.<\/p>\n

He urged the believers and Muslims in particular to reflect on their relationship with God and wish them joy as they break their fast and celebrate their day.<\/p>\n
