Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>Former Secretary for Policy and Planning in SPLM-IO National Youth League, Akech Akoon [Photo: courtesy]<\/b><\/p>\n The Secretary for Policy and Planning of the Sudan People\u2019s Liberation Movement in Opposition (SPLM-IO) National Youth League, Akech Akoon left the party citing a \u201closs of vision.\u201d<\/p>\n Mr Akoon penned a joint resignation letter with Kharbino Kiir, where they faulted the leadership of the SPLM-IO for \u201closing focus of its vision.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThis letter serves to inform the leadership of SPLM-IO that, I, Akech Akoon Yak and Kharbino Kiir Ajang officially resigned amicably from the effect of today,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n He further accused Deng Akoon, the current speaker of the council of the states, and Garang Akeen of spoiling the party.<\/p>\n Kharbino told The City Review that they are warming up to join the SPLM political party after resigning.<\/p>\n \u201cWe were trying to come together and coordinate if there were any events organised by the SPLM party, we would come and announce our allegiance to the SPLM.
