According to the statement issued by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Goc praised the longstanding relationship between South Sudan and Zimbabwe, expressing optimism about the future of their relationship.<\/p>\n
Highlighting Zimbabwe\u2019s notable advancements in education, Goc proposed collaborative efforts to provide training opportunities for South Sudanese teachers.<\/p>\n
\u201cZimbabwe\u2019s progress in education is commendable. We look forward to forging partnerships that will enhance our educational sector through shared expertise and training opportunities,\u201d Goc stated.<\/p>\n
He also underscored South Sudan\u2019s keen interest in benefiting from Zimbabwe\u2019s rich experience in the agriculture and mining sectors, where Zimbabwe has demonstrated significant proficiency.<\/p>\n
\u201cSouth Sudan is eager to learn from Zimbabwe\u2019s successes in agriculture and mining. These are crucial areas for our economic development, and we believe there is much we can achieve together,\u201d Goc added.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Amb. Mupezeni acknowledged the historical bonds between the two countries, recalling Zimbabwe\u2019s support during South Sudan\u2019s period of war, including hosting South Sudanese refugees.<\/p>\n
He highlighted Zimbabwe\u2019s ongoing assistance, having trained over 200 South Sudanese professionals in various fields such as agriculture, education, banking, finance, and mining.<\/p>\n
\u201cZimbabwe has always stood by South Sudan, and we remain committed to supporting your nation\u2019s growth. Our shared history strengthens our resolve to work together for mutual development,\u201d Mupezeni said.<\/p>\n
The ambassador reiterated Zimbabwe\u2019s readiness to continue providing support and expertise to South Sudan, stressing a commitment to enhancing cooperation in critical sectors.<\/p>\n
The discussion between the two officials marks a significant step towards reinforcing the partnership between South Sudan and Zimbabwe, with both countries looking forward to a collaborative future aimed at mutual prosperity.<\/p>\n
