Africa-Press<\/a> – South-Sudan<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>South Sudan President Salva Kiir Mayardit will address the nation when the country\u2019s Reconstituted Transitional National Legislative Assembly (R-TNLA) convene for the first time on Tuesday, a top lawmaker has said.<\/p>\n

The clerk of the parliament Makuac Makuac says the main agenda would be the President Salva Kiir Mayardit\u2019s address to the nation after which the parliament will convene a normal sitting.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe main agenda of the inauguration is the President of the Republic of South Sudan going to address the nation through the parliament and then open the parliament officially and after that, we will have the normal setting of the parliament,\u201d Makuac said.<\/p>\n

For his part, Nathanial Oyet, the SPLM-IO-nominated first deputy of the speaker of parliament said there exist challenges such as in the formation of specialized committees as some parties have not submitted list of their nominees for the committees.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat we still don\u2019t have in place are specialized committee chairpersons and their deputies, we are also waiting for other parties to submit their nominees,\u201d Oyet said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
