Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>The Chief Administrator of the Greater Pibor Administrative Area (GPAA), Gola Boyoi Gola, has officiated the swearing-in of newly appointed ministers and announced a series of administrative changes affecting key government institutions.<\/p>\n

During the ceremony held in Pibor on Monday morning, Gola Boyoi Gola urged the new officials to contribute to service delivery and the development of the area.<\/p>\n

In the reshuffle, John Kaka Gain was appointed Minister of Physical Infrastructure, replacing Gabriel Amakori Thango, who previously held the post.<\/p>\n

John Ngare Dispapa was appointed Minister of General Education and Instruction, replacing Butrous Ochalla Ojulu, who has now been moved to the Ministry of Labor, Public Service and Resources Development.<\/p>\n

Abraham Kelang Jiji was appointed Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, replacing Paul Barbolo Menalem, who previously served in the same ministry and has now been appointed Director General of the Mining Corporation.<\/p>\n

James Omot Okach, who previously served as Minister of Labor, Public Service and Human Resources Development, was relieved from that position.<\/p>\n

In the Mining Corporation, Paul Barbolo Menalem was appointed Director General, with Luka William named Deputy Director General and Omot John Abulla appointed Executive Director.<\/p>\n

In the GPAA Revenue Authority, Samuel Gain Nyapani was relieved of his duties as Commissioner General, while Kengen John Lomurden was relieved as Deputy Commissioner General.<\/p>\n

New appointments in the Revenue Authority include Yohana Sabit Konyi as Commissioner General, John Kolang Thori as Deputy Commissioner General, and Ballack Wilson Pioko as Executive Director.<\/p>\n

Other changes included the removal of Simon Amor Atar from his role as Director General in the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure, and the relief of Sunday John Konyi from his position in the Ministry of Labor, Public Service and Human Resources Development.<\/p>\n

The Chief Administrator said the restructuring is part of administrative adjustments within GPAA following decrees issued on April 16, 2026.<\/p>\n
