Symptoms have subsided. They are now discharged and within their family,\u201d Kediende said.<\/p>\n<p>He said laboratory tests are still being conducted to determine the exact illness.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will only need to do the laboratory test to confirm, if not viral hemorrhagic fever, what it is exactly,\u201d he said. \u201cWe will also run many other tests, including tuberculosis.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kediende said a team deployed to Kapoeta East carried out contact tracing, training, and awareness activities in the area before returning to Juba.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey took the samples, they have also enlisted contacts, and conducted training and preparedness activities on the ground, including awareness.
