The Minister of Health in Western Equatoria State says the state finally received a supply of essential medicines last week after nearly a year without drugs.<\/p>\n
According to James Abdallah Arona, the State Health Minister, the medicines will be distributed to all ten counties across Western Equatoria State.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe drug supply was not in Western Equatoria since last year, last week we received drug supply from the main stores to the ten counties of Western Equatoria state,\u201dMinister Arona said, speaking to Eye Radio on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
\u201cI also want to thank National Minister of health for sending incentives for three months which our health workers are clamming which is October, November and December 2025,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
He also said health workers in the state have received incentives for the months of October, November and December 2025.<\/p>\n
Since April, the National Ministry of Health has been distributing essential drug supplies to the 10 states and three administrative areas under the World Bank-funded Health Sector Transformation Project (HSTP).<\/p>\n
According to the Ministry of Health, the supplies have so far been delivered to Lakes State, Warrap State, Pibor Administrative Area, Unity State, Abyei Administrative Area, Northern Bahr el Ghazal State, Western Bahr el Ghazal State, and the Ruweng Administrative Area.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
