Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>A staff of Eden Commercial Bank Yei branch has made away with $50,000, leaving the private financial institution counting losses.<\/p>\n

The unnamed official who is a Cash Manager, disappeared with the aforementioned amount on Monday this week, according to the Yei Branch Manager, Mawa Wilson.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the City Review from Yei Town on Friday, Mr Mawa confirmed that they were still trying to trace the suspect\u2019s whereabouts.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt happened on Monday and we don\u2019t know how he disappeared up to now we don\u2019t know where he has gone with the money,\u201d said Mr Mawa without further details.<\/p>\n

Mr Mawa who said he was too busy to provide more information on how significant the incident has cost the bank, promised to reveal more details when the tasks at hand wane.<\/p>\n

The bank has the headquarters in the capital, Juba, and other branches in some states of South Sudan.<\/p>\n
