Africa-Press – Tanzania. THE Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (TCCIA) and the Zanzibar Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC) have signed a Tripartite Agreement with Omani trading company, Business Gateway International.

The main objective of the agreement is to establish and strengthen a joint marketing network between traders from Mainland Tanzania, Zanzibar, and Oman, to promote trade, investment and economic cooperation between the three parties.

This important step in trade cooperation comes as a positive outcome of the historic visits made by the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Hon. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, together with the President of Zanzibar and Chairman of the Revolutionary Council, Hon. Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi to Oman.

The signing ceremony took place at TCCIA’s new offices located in the PortView Building, Gerezani Street, in Dar es Salaam.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by senior leaders of the relevant institutions, including TCCIA CEO, Oscar Kissanga, ZNCC CEO, Hamad Hamad, and Businessgateway International Director, Hafidh Al-Mahruqi.

Through this agreement, the parties concerned have opened a new chapter in trade relations between Oman and Tanzania, a move that is expected to stimulate economic growth and increase employment opportunities through international trade and investment.
