Africa-Press – Tanzania. THE Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office (Policy, Parliament, and Coordination), William Lukuvi, today, July 16, 2025, inspected the preparations for the upcoming Heroes’ Day celebrations scheduled for July 25, 2025, at the Heroes’ Stadium in Mtumba, Dodoma city.
After reviewing the sites and various arrangements, Minister Lukuvi expressed satisfaction with both the completed and ongoing preparations at the venue.
During the visit, Minister Lukuvi was accompanied by senior officials from the Prime Minister’s Office as well as officers from the Tanzania People’s Defence Forces (JWTZ) and the Police Force.
This year’s Heroes’ Day celebrations will feature special ceremonies, including a grand parade, with the chief guest expected to be the Commander-in-Chief of the Defence and Security Forces, President Samia Suluhu Hassan.
The celebrations provide an opportunity to honor and remember the heroic contributions of those who have played a significant role in the defense and development of the nation.
