Africa-Press – Tanzania. THE National Bank of Commerce (NBC) recently held a strategic meeting with key clients in Arusha, including corporations, individual customers, and institutions to explore emerging business opportunities, introduce new services, and gather feedback to enhance its offerings.

Organized as a dinner event, the meeting was led by NBC’s Director of Corporate Clients Mr Elvis Ndunguru, along with senior officials from the bank’s headquarters and Arusha branches. The event was hosted by NBC’s Commercial and Investment Banking (CIB) team.

Mr Ndunguru emphasised that the initiative reflects NBC’s commitment to building strong client relationships and delivering services tailored to client needs. The event highlighted offerings such as NBC Connect, while also providing a platform for networking and feedback.

“As a key financial institution, we are committed to delivering quality service and fostering collaboration with our clients,” Mr Ndunguru said. “This engagement showcases our service improvements and digital innovations designed to meet evolving customer expectations.”

NBC outlined strategies to enhance service delivery, expand business networks, and bring banking services closer to clients. NBC Connect was featured as a core digital solution for corporations, private firms, and government entities.

“Understanding our clients’ goals is central to exceptional service,” he added. “Events like this give us valuable insights that drive our innovation and improve the banking experience.”

Mr. Ndunguru also highlighted the bank’s focus areas for strengthening business partnerships across the country. These include innovative financial solutions, digital transformation, strategic alliances, economic growth, and community responsibility particularly in education, health, and environmental conservation.

“NBC invites businesses to explore the benefits of partnering with us. We are dedicated to your growth and to being a reliable banking partner nationwide,” he concluded.

Attendees responded positively, citing the event’s relevance amid Arusha’s rapid economic growth particularly in tourism, spurred by President Samia Suluhu Hassan’s Royal Tour initiative.

“Arusha is experiencing major growth in tourism, trade, agriculture, and industry,” said Mr Abdallah Kiwango of the Tanzania National Parks Authority (TANAPA). “NBC’s modern services and digital solutions have been vital for financial transactions and government collections.”
