Africa-Press – Tanzania. The President of the United Republic of Tanzania and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Samia Suluhu Hassan has led Tanzanians in the commemoration of the Heroes’ Day held at the Heroes’ Grounds in Mtumba, Dodoma today, July 25, 2025.
The event was also attended by various government leaders, members of the defense and security forces, as well as citizens from different parts of the country.
The ceremony was held in honor of the nation’s heroes who made significant contributions to the fight for independence, the maintenance of peace, and the promotion of national development.
Heroes’ Day is observed annually on July 25 to preserve the country’s historical memory and to inspire patriotism among Tanzanians.
