Africa-Press – Tanzania. THE Secretary-General of Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM), Dr Asha-Rose Migiro, has urged ten-cell leaders not to merely receive orders from above, but insteady instructions should come from them to the top since they are the ones who know the members best.
According to the Secretary General, the roots of the party begin from where members emerge.
Dr Migiro made the statement today, January 7, 2026, at the start of her tour to meet the ten cell leaders, beginning with the Temeke and Kigamboni districts of Dar es Salaam.
Addressing thousands of leaders L and the party members who attended the meeting, Dr Mwigiro spoke on the discipline and strength of CCM, noting that it is at the ten cell and ward levels that the party’s discipline and resilience begin.
Emphasizing, she said that it is crucial for grassroots ambassadors to recognize this and advise on the best ways to collaborate in fulfilling the vision of the party’s Chairperson, President Samia Suluhu Hassan for a stronger CCM.
Furthermore, Dr Migiro stated that all ambassadors and leaders have a responsibility to revisit and build upon the achievements made in implementing CCM’s manifesto over the past five years, including during the two months since the conclusion of the general election.
