Africa-Press – Tanzania. CRDB Bank has unveiled its 2026 flagship campaign, aimed to accelerate growth while enhancing customer experience through faster, more flexible and customer-centric financial services.
The campaign, titled ‘Banking Your Way Time Matters,’ builds on a strong business performance from the previous year, during which the lender posted a profit exceeding 1.04tri/-, highlighting the success of its longterm strategy and customer-focused approach.
CRDB Group CEO and Managing Director, Mr Abdulmajid Nsekela thanked customers, investors, partners and stakeholders for their continued trust while launching the campaign yesterday.
“Last year’s strong performance was driven by the remarkable support we received from individual customers, entrepreneurs, institutions, organisations, the government and our partners. You are the foundation of CRDB,” said Mr Nsekela.
Last year, CRDB bank recorded a profit before tax of 1.04tri/-, representing a 33 per cent growth, while profit after tax reached 725bn/-, a 31 per cent increase compared to 2024.
The lender’s total assets grew to 22.2tri/-, also a 33 per cent increase, while total loans issued during the year amounted to 13.7tri/-, reflecting a growth of 32.6 per cent.
The strong performance has boosted the bank’s capacity to finance development projects, support businesses, create jobs and empower youth, women and entrepreneurs.
Mr Nsekela noted that rapid technological advancements, rising competition and the increasing need for personalised economic planning have reshaped customer expectations, creating demand for financial services that are simple, fast and aligned with individual strategies.
The bank’s customer-focused transformation began last year with major upgrades to its core banking system, aimed at aligning operations with international service standards
