PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan has arrived in Arusha today, March 6, 2026, ahead of tomorrow’s 25th Ordinary Summit of Heads of State of the East African Community (EAC) at at the Arusha International Conference Centre (AICC).
President Samia was welcomed at Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA) by the Kilimanjaro Regional Commissioner, Nurdin Babu, along with the Regional Commissioner of Arusha, Amos Makalla, and other government officials.
Preparations for the summit reflect the ongoing efforts by EAC member states to strengthen regional cooperation in economic matters, security, and social development.
