Africa-Press – Tanzania. President of Zanzibar, Dr Hussein Ali Mwinyi has today, March 21, 2026, extended Eid support to hundreds of children, widows and people with special needs at State House as part of Eid al-Fitr celebrations.

Dr Mwinyi also conveyed his wishes of blessings and joy to Muslims marking the festival after the holy month of Ramadan.

Earlier, the President joined religious leaders and sheikhs at the State House following Eid prayers held at Jamiu Zanzibar Mosque in Kiembe Samaki, Urban West Region.
