Africa-Press – Tanzania. DAR ES SALAAM is set to host a major Easter celebration, with Prime Minister Mwigulu Lameck Nchemba expected to attend a gospel concert headlined by renowned singer Christina Shusho.

Speaking to journalists, Shusho described the event as part of her ongoing mission to serve God through music and ministry.

“This concert is not just entertainment; it is a continuation of our calling to praise and worship God together as one community,” she said.

The show, titled Mtoko wa Pasaka na Christina Shusho, will take place on April 5 at Mlimani City Hall. Organisers promise a mix of music, worship and spiritual reflection.

Fans can expect performances from some of Tanzania’s leading gospel artists, including Rose Mhando and Joel Lwaga. Shusho’s manager, Dr Humphrey Gatimu, confirmed that attendance will be free of charge.

“I would like to inform all Tanzanians that this concert will not require any entrance fee. Everyone is welcome to come and praise and worship God,” he said.

Meanwhile, Joseph Atanasi of Mtakatifu Cecilia Church said their choir is preparing intensively for the occasion. “As we approach Easter, our choir is fully committed to preparing ourselves to serve and glorify God through our voices,” he added.
