Africa-Press – Tanzania. THE Dar es Salaam- based Golf Sana Business Network is gearing up for a new golf training cohort set to begin on April 24 at Lugalo Golf Course in the city.

This curated golf training and business networking platform brings together ambitious professionals, entrepreneurs, decision-makers, lawyers, bankers, and business owners in one intentional space to learn the game while building meaningful business-driven relationships.

Speaking in Dar es Salaam today, April 10, 2026, Golf Sana Business Network founder Eugene Muyonga revealed that preparations for the next cohort are at an advanced stage, and the interest from the public is encouraging.

“We are keeping the group intentionally small with 8 to 10 structured sessions for beginners to deliver high-quality coaching and ensure that every participant feels well supported and integrated with our community,” he said.

Highlighting on what compelled him to establish the initiative, he said he saw a clear gap in Dar es Salaam’s growing business scene as many ambitious professionals are working hard to build strong careers or companies, but often remain stuck in the same limited circles.

“At the same time, golf is widely seen as an expensive and elite game that is out of reach for many people…as such, Golf Sana is here to change that mindset and make the sport accessible to all.

“Some of the most valuable business breakthroughs happen in relaxed, extended settings; hence, we give professionals a practical way to step into those spaces early so that they not only work hard but rather work smart by surrounding themselves with the right people,” he said.

On why golf stood out as the best out of other sport disciplines, he remarked that it creates space for deep, uninterrupted conversation often lasting up to five hours in a calm, focused environment.

“More importantly, golf reveals true character…you see how a person handles pressure during bad shots, setbacks, and rules when no one is watching.

“Business people deeply value character and integrity, which is offered by the golf course in a more honest manner than what boardroom meetings can do hence it becomes easier to seal deals on the course than in traditional settings,” he revealed.

According to him, Golf Sana goes beyond business expectations as golf is a healthy sport whereby a full round provides hours of walking in fresh air (often about 5 hours for 18 holes), leading to enough burning of calories.

“We also run special events like Business Card Day, where members meet to talk, eat, drink and exchange cards in a relaxed setting, and we are also building a members’ database that will make it easy for them to find meaningful business access and support within the network,” he concluded.
