Africa-Press – Tanzania. TANZANIA National Chamber of Commerce (TNCC) has hosted a high-level delegation from the Ukrainian Embassy for talks aimed at expanding trade and investment links.
The strategic meeting, held under the TNCC focused on boosting private sector cooperation and unlocking new commercial opportunities between the two countries.
The engagement also marked the official introduction of a representative from the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Tanzania seen as a key milestone in advancing bilateral economic relations.
During the discussion, both sides expressed commitment to formalising the partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the near future.
Speaking during the talks, Ukraine’s Chargé d’Affaires in Tanzania, Maksym Nemyria, said the collaboration would open new trade avenues and foster long-term business ties between Tanzanian and Ukrainian enterprises.
On his part, TNCC President, Vicent Minja, described the move as a significant step toward widening investment opportunities, expanding markets and strengthening trade diplomacy for Tanzania’s economic growth.
The partnership is expected to spur new investments, enhance market access for goods and services, and create broader economic opportunities for businesses and investors in both Tanzania and Ukraine.
Tanzania and Ukraine have been exploring avenues for economic collaboration, particularly in trade and investment. The TNCC’s engagement with Ukrainian officials signifies a growing interest in strengthening bilateral relations, which could lead to increased economic opportunities for both nations.
