Africa-Press – Tanzania. POLICE in Kagera Region are investing an incident where a 24-year old woman, identified as Suzana Tryphone a resident of Kassambya village, in Misssenyi district allegedly gave her two children aged six months and two years poison before committing suicide.
Acting Kagera Regional Police Commander (RPC), Assistant Commissioner (ACP), Maketi Msangi, said the late Suzana left a note with a message for her husband requesting him to take care of another child, who was in Standard Four in a boarding school adding that the incident happened on May 19, this year at around 3.00 p.m.
In another incident, a security guard at Muganyizi Bar and Guest House in Izigo Ward, Muleba district is helping police in investigations related to the death of a bodaboda youth.
Narrating Mr Msangi said that the cause of the death, where a man named, Aaron Sherevazi (27) was fighting another person, when the late Erick Dawson (26), a bodaboda rider intervened only to be stabbed on the chest and died on the way to Rubya Hospital for treatment.
