Africa-PressTanzania. The Association of Combatants of the National Liberation Struggle (ACLLIN) has asked Tanzania to assist Mozambicans fleeing there from terrorist attacks in Cabo Delgado province, Radio Mozambique reported on Friday.

An ACLLIN press release highlights the historic ties between Mozambique and Tanzania, from the national liberation struggle to the period following Mozambique’s independence.

Over the past months, hundreds of Mozambicans have fled towards Tanzania seeking refuge from violence in northern Cabo Delgado.

ACLLIN highlights the efforts made by President of the Republic Filipe Nyusi to restore peace in the province.

In other developments, ACLLIN joins the chorus of voices lamenting the increase in the number of fatal road accidents on the country’s roads, urging motorists to observe traffic safety rules diligently.
