Africa-Press – Tanzania. COASTAL Union defender Hassan Kibailo ‘Poti’ has said he is in the process of securing a one-year contract extension with his team.
Elaborating, Kibailo said his contract has already expired and he has already begun talks with his team management in order to extend his contract.
He further added that he has already received some offers from First Division and Premier League teams that need his services.
The former TSC Academy, Mwanza Combine, Mbao FC and Pamba SC player said he wants to serve the team until the end of the 2021/22 season.
Kibailo said he is grateful to the fans and his club’s management as well as Tanga regional commissioner Adam Malima for supporting the team and his teammates for good cooperation that enable them to avoid relegation.
During the 2020/2021 season, Kibailo managed to provide six assists in the team’s Premier league matches. Coastal Union finished 13th with 40 points after 34 outings.
The former Premier League champions, Coastal Union won 10 drawn 9 and lost 14 matches. They have netted 29 and conceded 46 goals.
