Africa-Press – Tanzania. Tanzania clubs taking part in CAF interclub competitions in the 2021-2022 season have been unveiled in Cairo today (Friday).
The draw for the preliminary rounds of CAF Champions League 2021-2022 took place on Friday at CAF Headquarters in Cairo in Egypt.
Young Africans SC (Tz) will face Rivers United FC (Nigeria) while KMKM (Zanzibar) vs Al Ittihad (Libya)
Simba SC are among 10 clubs exempted from the first round matches.
Other clubs are: Al Ahly and Raja, as well as Esperance de Tunis (Tunisia), Zamalek (Egypt), Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), Horoya AC (Guinea), TP Mazembe (DR Congo), Etoile Sportive du Sahel (Tunisia), Wydad (Morocco).
On the other side, Azam FC, Bishara United and Mafunzo’s opponents have been unveiled in the draw for the preliminary rounds of CAF Confederation Cup 2021-2022 held on Friday at CAF Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.
Azam FC have been drawn to Horseed SC (Somalia) and Biashara will take on FC Dikhil from Djibouti.
Another Isles club Mafunzo will face GD Interclube from Angola.
