Africa-PressTanzania. FORMER Simba midfield maestro Clatous Chama and Young Africans speedy winger Tuisila Kisinda have officially teamed up at Morocco’s side RSB Berkane.

Photos of the duo taken in the club’s full gear at their training base went viral on social media platforms on Friday signaling that they are now legal players of the club for the coming seasons.

In his reaction after Chama’s move, Simba Acting Information Officer Ezekiel Kamwaga said both sides have benefited from the conducted business while insisting that efforts to get his replacement have already started.

“To the player himself, the move is good because he will be receiving four times the amount he was getting at Simba and according to his age, it was easy to release him because he is nearing retirement.

“To us, we have got more money than the amount we bought him and this will be channelled to strength further the existing squad by bringing in new players,” Kamwaga said.

In his 28 top flight league games he played for Simba last season, Chama scored eight goals, produced 15 assists and he participated in 18 goals while in champions league, out of 12 games he featured, he netted 5 goals, made 3 assists and participated in eight goals.

Meanwhile, Simba Head Coach Didier Gomes has expressed his satisfaction with the training facilities they have been exposed to during their underway preseason camp in Morocco.

The champions have intensified rehearsals in the foreign territory prior to the coming busy schedule of which they really would like to register success.

They will be compelled to compete in three major contests which are champions league, Mainland Premier League plus Azam Sports Federation Cup (ASFC).

However, speaking all the way from Morocco via Simba TV, the Frenchman trainer said the available facilities have impressed him and the entire crew which made the trip.

“We are very happy to be here because of the good weather condition and we can work on both artificial and natural grass which is very good.

“What I have seen so far from my players is that everyone is committed to the next season. Of course, we won two major domestic trophies last season but we need to forget that because we are heading to the new season with big targets.

“We need to improve and progress. There are some good new players, young with big abilities and I am completely convinced that they can contribute a lot to this team,” Gomes said.

He repeated that their targets next season will be high like defending the two trophies we won plus reaching the semifinals of the Champions League.

“We want to make Mr. Mo (Mohamed Dewji) very happy because he support the team a lot. We know the expectations of our fans and I promise to give them good things,” he said.
