Africa-Press – Tanzania. THE Minister of State in the Prime Minister (Investment) Geoffrey Mwambe has been impressed by the increased efficiency of the Business Registration and Licensing Agency (BRELA) in reaching out to more people.
Mr Mwambe made the remarks over the weekend at the BRELA pavilion at the Tourism and Trade Fair taking place in Chato District, Geita Region. While at the pavilion, Minister Mwambe was briefed on why BRELA participated in the exhibitions and how it reaches traders in their areas.
The Assistant Registration Officer at BRELA, Seleman Seleman told the Minister that the institution’s participation was part of efforts to reach out to local businesses and address their challenges.
“Right now anyone who needs our services does not need to travel to the office. Registration is done online at any time and anywhere, “Seleman explained adding despite providing online services, BRELA has taken further steps by following the traders in their areas and providing them with instant services.
In addition, Mr Seleman urged Geita residents and those from the surrounding areas to use the opportunity of gaining more awareness on how to register their business during exhibitions.
Haliswa Chobba a businessman and participant in the exhibition from Dar es Salaam registered business name at the exhibitions, said he was happy with the service he received from BRELA since he used the short time to get a registration certificate since he visited the pavilion.
Those who have applied for various services and have not yet completed, them are encouraged to call or visit the BRELA office for instructions and immediate assistance to complete their application.
