Africa-Press – Tanzania. Egyptian giants Al Ahly have completed the signing of Tanzania’s Simba SC star Luís Miquissone.
It is reported that the winger has signed a four-year-deal with the club.
Although Simba have not disclosed the deal, Al Ahly reportedly paid 14,000,000 Egyptian pounds [$900,000] for the winger.
The Mozambique international joined Tanzanian giants permanently in 2020 after being loaned by South Africa’s Mamelody Sundowns to various clubs including Chippa United, Royal Eagles FC and UD Songo.
According to Kingfut website, Miquissone becomes first-ever Mozambican to play for Al Ahly, and the first from his country in Egypt since ENPPI legend Mano.
After announcing the signing of the player, the club has shared Miquisson’s photo captioned in capital letter saying: “ᴛʜᴀᴛ ꜰᴇᴇʟɪɴɢ ᴡʜᴇɴ ʏᴏᴜ ꜱɪɢɴ ꜰᴏʀ ᴀʟ ᴀʜʟʏ”
