Africa-Press – Tanzania. TANZANIA Football Federation (TFF) has introduced new NBC Bank as the main Mainland Premier League sponsor after the two sides signed a three-year deal.
The bank will release 2.5bn/- annually and the amount might increase, according to officials.
After the signing of the new deal, Tanzania Premier League, which has attracted players from different parts of the continent, will officially be known as NBC Premier League.
At the signing ceremony held in Dar es Salaam on Wednesday morning, Tanzania’s football governing body was represented by President Wallace Karia while the lending institution, NBC, was represented by its executive director, Theobald Sabi.
The leading telecom company Vodacom was the last league’s main sponsor before pulled out.
