Africa-Press – Tanzania. Azam FC have said three players, including the club’s captain Aggrey Moris have been suspended ‘until further notice’ due to the misconduct.
Apart from Moris and his two assistants namely Mudathir Yahya and Salum Abubakar were suspended some days back but the club didn’t give clarification, paving the way for spreading of rumors about the reasons behind trio’s suspension.
A statement issued by the club’s Communication officer, Thabit Zakaria on Wednesday morning claimed the players were suspended on the grounds of disrespectful attitude shown to Azam Manager, Luckson Kakolaki.
It said the senior players abused the manager at different occasions on the 18th September, this year.
“Before the match they followed him [the team manager] to his office and uttered abusive words against him and after the match, they repeated the incidence in front of their teammates, the technical bench and club’s officials in the changing rooms,” clubs Zakaria said.
