Africa-Press – Tanzania. Edelweiss Air plane with 260 passengers aboard has landed at Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA) on Saturday as the carrier launches direct flight from Switzerland to Tanzania.
Details shared by the Government’s Chief Spokesperson, Gerson Msigwa revealed the passengers arrived in country were tourists.
The Edelweiss Air starts the new route as the government continues to inject more funds in the aviation industry by purchasing modern crafts to revamp the national carrier.
On Friday, Zanzibar President Dr Hussein Mwinyi led top government officials to receive two new brand plans in the Isles.
