Africa-PressTanzania. THE alumni of Isagehe Secondary school in Kahama District have vowed to contribute to improvement of the school infrastructures and bringing in more volunteering teachers, in a bid to support the government towards setting conducive learning environment.

According to alumni, Mr Dotto Selema, who contributed 150 bags of cement during the school’s 21st form four graduation ceremony, conducive learning environment is among the source of experts in the country.

The offered cement will be use for construction of the multipurpose hall, including serving as a dining room for the students, said Mr Selema, who is currently serving as a teacher at Kishimba Secondary School in the District.

“The government invests a lot in education sector. We, stakeholders, are here to support the endeavors to ensure availability of enough experts in all sectors,” he said, affirming to continue contributing as per needs and capacity.

Another alumni and currently a Director for the Mwanza- based Magare Company Limited, Mr Mabula Magangila, had promised an additional of more volunteering teachers for science and commerce subjects, just to fight the shortage.

It was noted that the company had already engaged and issues a monthly salary packages for six teachers, but the two have recently benefited from permanent employment in the government.

“I will add six more. The aim is to make sure that Isagehe emerges top schools, even number one, in all national examinations. We are seriously to collaborate with the government to fight zero in our public schools, he said.

It was further noted that, the company has already been making some contributions for Isagehe, including computers, printing and photocopy machines as well as connecting water services to girls’ dormitories and toilets.
