Africa-PressTanzania. ALL eyes will be directed at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam as Biashara United face Al Ahly Tripoli of Libya in a CAF Confederation Cup match from 3:00pm today.

It will be the first leg game of the contest before the two sides meet again in Libya for the return leg with the best winner in each slot marching into the next stage of the competition.

Biashara United who are debutants in the confederation cup will storm the pitch full of confidence as they have not lost any game in the unfolding campaign hence they are eager to continue with the remarkable feat.

However, this is a different match and they need to play with strong determination to make sure that after the 90 minutes of footwork action on the natural grass, the scoreboard should read in their favour.

Recently, the team’s coach Patrick Odhiambo admitted that the game will be difficult but he insisted that they have done their homework well ready to take the challenge.

He also pointed out that his charges have had massive training sessions aimed at making sure that they stamp a triumph before the second leg meeting few days later.

To reach this far, Odhiambo’s men stunned FC Dikhil of Djibouti with an aggregate 3-0 victory as they won 1-0 in Djibouti before finishing the business 2-0 in the city.

Winning in Djibouti was a boosting outcome for them basing on the fact that they arrived there in the morning of the match day after facing travelling hiccups in the country as some of their players had invalid documents to make the trip.

As such, they put aside the travelling woes they encountered and focused on the match which in the end saw them registering the vital away win against a good team as such; the same fighting spirit should be directed towards today’s duel.

The self-proclaimed ‘Border Soldiers’ won the ticket to represent the country in the confederation cup after finishing last season’s Mainland Premier League on fourth place which was enough to certify them for the international games.
