AB OUT 4,755 students in Kagera R e g i o n are expected to sit for their Form Six National examinations which start tomorrow ( Monday), it has been disclosed.
K a g e r a Regional Education Development Officer, Mr Aloyce Kamamba said out of the number, 4,167 were school candidates including 2,412 boys and 1,752 girls.
The other 319 were private candidates, including 233 boys and 86 girls, while 269 candidates were teachers. About 47 centres will be for school candidates and four centres for private candidates, he said.
Mr Kamamba said all necessary logistics had been completed, appealing to students to be calm and answer the questions with a peaceful mind. He also appealed to the invigilators to be faithful, diligent and should avoid corrupt practices that can mar the exams.
