Africa-Press – Tanzania. TANZANIAN professional boxers have bragged to emerge victorious against their foreign opponents in the Super Dome Boxing night to be held tomorrow at the new Super Dome Arena in Dar es Salaam.
Speaking on Wednesday, Nasibu Ramadhani, who will fight against Toto Helebe from South Africa said he is well prepared to demolish his challenger.
“I’ve been training intensively ahead of this fight and my target is to knock him known down…the best he can do is to at least cross the first two rounds. “I’m well aware that Helebe is bragging that he has come to seek victory; however he has stepped at a big mess. He will never know what has hit him. “I’m well prepared and I ask Tanzanians to come in a big numbers to support me in the fight. I promise I will not let them down,” said Ramadhani, who will fight in the main card.
Apart from Ramadhani, another Tanzanian boxer Shaaban Jongo has also promised to outshine his Ugandan opponent Musa Ntege in the East Africa- Africa Boxing Union (ABU) Cruiserweight battle.
If Jongo wins the fight, he will have the opportunity to feature at the African championship against Nigerian professional boxer Olanweragu Doradola, as well as be included in the World Boxing Council (WBC) rankings.
For his part, famous Tanzanians boxers Fadhili Majiha and Hamis Palasungulu have also bragged to win their respective fights against foreign boxers.
Majiha will take to the ring to fight against Ghanaian Manyo Plange, while Hamis Palasungulu will exchange blows against Nigerian Solomon Adebayo in heavy weight. Also in the schedule, is Tanzanian boxer Salehe Kassim, who promised to outshine Ghanaian boxer Patrick Aryee, while Mohamed Pesa said he will not let down Tanzania against Nigerian Tope Aden.
Also in the schedule are Paul Kamatha and Lemi Madeje, who will fight in middleweight bout and ladies boxer Sarafina Julius Bella and Sara Alex will exchange blows in flyweight bout.
Chief Executive Officer of LP Sport, Levis Paul said that the preparations for the fight have been completed and they expect to have exciting fights.
“All boxers have arrived ahead of the Super Dome Boxing and call all professional boxing fans to attend the bout and support our boxers,” said Paul.
