Africa-Press – Tanzania. PRIME Minister Kassim Majaliwa has issued a 7-days ultimatum to the Dar es Salaam regional’s Rural and Urban Roads Agency (TARURA) and the Dar es Salaam Water and Sanitation Authority (DAWASA) to finalize construction work of ‘abandoned’ road section linking Muhimbili National Hospital (MNH) with Mariki road.
The road section was dismantled to allow renovation works of Muhimbili’s sewage line — the work on the 60-meters section was scheduled to be completed last June, 2023.
Majaliwa wants the two authorities to work 24 hours a day to complete the construction work and ease commuters using the road to Muhimbili’s main entrance.
