“The digital system must be enhanced so that public needs are promptly met and complaints are handled efficiently,” he said.
He also directed the agency to introduce mobile service clinics to reach more citizens in remote areas.
The minister assured continued government support to ensure the agency discharges its mandate in line with the principles of good governance, as well as existing laws and regulations.
For her part, Dodoma Regional Commissioner Rosemary Senyamule said the Government expects the meeting to generate constructive discussion, practical strategies and solutions to current service challenges.
The agency is mandated to manage information on key life events, incorporate trustees and safeguard properties belonging to deceased persons, insolvents and minors.
It was officially launched on June 23, 2006, replacing the Administrator General’s Department under the Attorney General’s Chambers.
Its roots date back to 1917 under German colonial administration, with subsequent reforms introduced during British rule.
To align with global technological advancement, the agency developed the eRITA system as an integrated digital platform to improve service delivery and address operational challenges.
