Africa-Press – Tanzania. PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan has administered oath the newly appointed Inspector General of Police (IGP), Camillus Wambura at the State House in Chamwino, Dodoma.
Prior to his new role, CP Wambura was the Force’s Director of Public Prosecutions (DCI).
The Commander-In-Chief of Armed Forces made the appointment of new Police boss to cover the vacuum left by former IGP Simon Sirro who has been named as Tanzania’s Ambassador to Zimbabwe.
