Africa-Press – Tanzania. <\/strong><\/span>KILIMANJARO: <\/b>YOUTHS have been counselled to take advantage of the country\u2019s resources to establish projects that will create new jobs and boost their incomes.<\/p>\n

This was said by the 2024 Uhuru Torch Race leader Mr Godfrey Mzava during the Uhuru Torch rally in Rombo District in the Kilimanjaro Region at the weekend.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe government has continued to put a conducive investment environment for local and foreign investors to invest in various fields,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Mr Mzava said projects run and managed by local young people have been a springboard for other Tanzanians to come up with ideas to create new opportunities through existing resources.<\/p>\n

He hailed the Rock Blocks Company engaging in rock bricks production for being a role model to others and has now become the source of employment opportunities.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have witnessed the production of bricks from blocks as well as other rock-based products; these young people are doing a very good job,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The Rock Blocks Limited\u2019s Director Mr Fabian Woiso said the production of the rock blocks and other products by the company continued to grow alongside that of the demands from clients.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen we established this business in 2013, we were producing 30,000 rock bricks a month, today we are producing more than 200,000 rock bricks a month,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

According to him, they pay various taxes and fees to the government as well as providing job opportunities to more than 200 job<\/p>\n
