Information and Communication Technology Commission, Chief Technical Advisor, Dr George Mulamula, said during a breakfast meeting held recently that technology is inseparable from human progress capital in navigating the ever-changing realm of technology-driven business.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is essential for business owners to grasp the utilisation of technology for enhancing efficiency and boosting productivity,\u201d Dr Mulamula said during the 11th Impact Business Breakfast (IBB). The IBB was organised last week by IAA and themed \u2018Intersection between Human Capital and Technology for Business Growth.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Dr Mulamula said the growth of businesses in the market depends significantly on the amalgamation of acquired technological knowledge with human capital.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are pivotal considerations in utilising technology for productivity enhancement, including augmenting efficiency, facilitating data processing and analysis and managing costs,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>ALSO READ: Court orders EFM to pay 898m\/- unremitted pension contributions<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI), he noted that the Ministry for Information, Communication, and Information Technology has formulated guidelines aimed at leveraging AI to foster progress and transformation across various sectors in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Tanzania\u2019s Ambassador to South Korea, Mr Togolani Mavura, emphasised that people should not fear technological advancements but rather enhance their skills to keep pace with technology\u2019s evolution.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA labour force is crucial for driving production and business, but technology is indispensable for efficiency. \u201cEmbracing technology is imperative for propelling us forward, mirroring its utilisation in countries like Korea and other developed nations,\u201d Amb Mavura said.<\/p>\n<p>Amb Mavura said Tanzania is collaborating with Korea to establish the digital technology institute and a visibility study has started.<\/p>\n<p>The IAA Founder, Ms Angel Mbogoro, said that the breakfast meeting aimed at putting together professionals to share their ideas and build new experiences while providing knowledge to others.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s important to note that technology doesn\u2019t replace people\u2019s jobs; rather, it enhances adaptability and simplifies tasks,\u201d said Ms Mbogoro.<\/p>\n<p>She added that technology doesn\u2019t operate on its own; it requires human capital to run it and is fed information by people also technology enhances productivity because it helps achieve tasks very quickly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/tanzania\">Tanzania<\/a> Follow <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/\">Africa-Press<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Tanzania.
