Africa-Press – Tanzania. <\/strong><\/span>DAR ES SALAAM: <\/b>The Tanzania Meteorological Authority (TMA) says the trajectory of the weather systems in the Indian Ocean indicates a probability of cyclone \u2018IALY\u2019.<\/p>\n

According to information released by Tanzania\u2019s Weatherman on Friday, the cyclone will exist for a period of four days in the Indian Ocean.<\/p>\n

TMA adds in its latest report that the cyclone is forecast to cover an area between Madagascar and the Seychelles islands before weakening.<\/p>\n

According to the authority, the cyclone will not have a direct effect, though strong winds and high waves are expected to occur in the Indian Ocean.<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause of the distance from the country, the cyclone is not expected to have direct effects, causing an increase in rainfall in the country… We continue to monitor the progress of the cyclone and its effects on the weather systems in the country and will continue to provide information whenever necessary,\u201d part of the statement reads.<\/p>\n

However, the authority advised all people whose daily activities are linked to the ocean to follow closely and consider information released by them.<\/p>\n
