Africa-Press – Tanzania. <\/strong><\/span>DAR ES SALAAM: <\/b>THE sixth phase government under stewardship of President Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan has pledged to continue creating more conducive and enabling business environment to stimulate trade and investment growth in Tanzania.<\/p>\n

The Permanent Secretary in Prime Minister\u2019s Office (Policy, Parliament and Coordination), Dr Jim Yonazi said during the Executive Committee meeting of Tanzania National Business Council (TNBC) in Dar es Salaam over the weekend that the government has put in place friendly business environment for the private sector to grow including improvement of laws and policies.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are on the right improving the business environment to attract more investments and businesses. The sixth phase government under President Samia Suluhu Hassan is committed to see growth of national economy and increase of government revenues.<\/p>\n

Dr Yonazi who represented the Chief Secretary, Ambassador Dr Moses Kusiluka who is the Committee Chairman said the government has reviewed tax laws, policies and business registration procedures to enable growth and prosperity of the private sector.<\/p>\n

Earlier, TNBC Executive Secretary Dr Goodwill Wanga said through TNBC Meetings and those of Committees have been very instrumental to ensure smooth implementation of different projects.<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone is witnessing the government efforts in investing in systems to harmonise its operations for betterment of services delivery to Tanzanians,\u201d Dr Wanga said, adding that TNBC meetings have been very useful platform for both public and public sectors. Speaking at the same venue, the Central Bank Governor, Mr Emmanuel Tutuba said the financial sector has been growing steadily and giving significant contributions to both public and private sectors.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe (Central Bank) want to see Tanzanians fully exploit opportunities rendered by Bank of Tanzania including loans with low interests that help to stabilize loans on capital and those financing projects,\u201d Governor Tutuba said.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the Charman of Tanzania Private Sector Foundation\u2019s Mining Cluster, Mr Simon Shayo said the private was proud of the sixth phase government ways of addressing challenges facing the business community.<\/p>\n
