Africa-Press – Tanzania. <\/strong><\/span>DAR ES SALAAM:<\/b> THE Oryx Energies Tanzania plans to further expand its distribution network countrywide as it strengthens its presence in the competitive energies market.<\/p>\n

Chief Executive Officer of the Oryx Energies Tanzania, Mr Kalpesh Mehta, stated this today when handed over air tickets to winners of the company\u2019s promotion competition.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn ensuring products and services availability to consumers countrywide, we keep improving our distribution channels through Company Own Shops (CODOs), Distributors and Retail stations,\u201d Mr Mehta stated.<\/p>\n

He said the competition, which was conducted between January and December 2023 was meant to promote business partners.<\/p>\n

It also meant to award the best sales performance of Oryx Energies branded lubricants, he said as he announced Arusha-based Mbise Oil Shop as the best winner among CODO Shops and Lwimba Investment Company Ltd based in Dar es salaam being the best winner among distributors.<\/p>\n

Today marks the handover of the tickets to the winners, whereby each winner has got an all-expenses paid return ticket for two people travelling to Dubai.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe look forward to our next promotion competition which will be announced soon and will be more exciting,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Oryx Energies is one of the largest and longest-established independent providers of energy and services in Africa. Oryx Energies supplies, storing and distributes energy products needed by consumers and businesses including fuels, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and lubricants, and also offers a specialised bunkering service.<\/p>\n

Speaking on behalf of the winners, Ms Vaileth Cilwimba from the Lwimba Investment Company said the competition was tough.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo us, this is a catalyst for us to do better in selling the Oryx products including lubricants,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
