\nAfricaPress-Tanzania:<\/strong> YOUNG Africans said preparations for the launch of Wiki ya Mwananchi event set on Saturday in Dodoma are on front pedal and have urged more people to partake on the day.<\/p>\n

The launch will be the stepping stone towards its climax on August 30th at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam where among others; the club will parade its full squad ahead of the next season.<\/p>\n

But, speaking yesterday, the club’s Information Officer Hassan Bumbuli said all the activities prior to the Saturday’s launching are unfolding according to plan.<\/p>\n

“We have decided to launch the big event in Dodoma while its finale as usual will be hosted here in Dar es Salaam on Sunday, August 30th.<\/p>\n

“Aside from publicly showing our players, we will also showcase other new things which have never happened before in the country so as to satisfy our fans across the country,” he said.<\/p>\n

Recently, Yanga completed the signing of Tuisila Kisinda and Mukoko Tomombe from DR Congo giants AS Vita and have since declared to pick a prolific box net burster.<\/p>\n

The two players were confirmed as Yanga players on Monday evening after signing two year deals in Congo and are expected to land in the country this week.<\/p>\n

Elaborating on the fulfilled contracts all the way from Congo, GSM’s Investment Director Hersi Said insisted that it was not easy to get the duo but called on the team’s fans to expect a transformed squad next season capable to challenge for titles.<\/p>\n

“Both players were playing for AS Vita and fortunately, I had good discussion with the club owners over their transfer deals and are now legal players for Yanga,”\u00a0 he said.<\/p>\n

He further disclosed that they were in the final stages to get Covid-19 certificates which will help the players to land in the country and start serving the club.<\/p>\n

“If we will manage to get the required documents very fast, then by Thursday (today), we will be back in Tanzania,” he said.<\/p>\n

Again, Hersi pointed out that the other position they want to cement a lot for Yanga is the striking sector as such, they have already put on their radars what he described as a prolific box striker.<\/p>\n

He however could not mention which country the player will come from while saying what they want is someone whose solo job will be to put the ball into the net.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
