\nYOUNG Africans stormed to the top of the Mainland Premier League with a ruthless 6-0 demolition of Mashujaa FC at the KMC Complex in Dar es Salaam on Monday, underlining the champions\u2019 growing authority.<\/p>\n

The victory lifted Yanga to 19 points from seven matches, while Mashujaa remain fifth on 13 points after a chastening afternoon in Dar es Salaam. It was a one-sided affair as Young Africans set Mashujaa alight from the very first whistle, storming to a comprehensive 6-0 victory.<\/p>\n

Young Africans dominated proceedings f r o m start to finish, netting three goals in each half. It took just seven minutes for the floodgates to open. Pacome Zouzoua\u2019s whipped corner found Dickson Job at the back post, who cushioned a header into the path of Mohamed Camara.<\/p>\n

The defender made no mistake, meeting the ball with a clinical diving header to leave Erick Johola stranded in the Mashujaa goal. Yanga doubled their advantage on the halfhour mark through a move of pure precision. Prince Dube turned provider, threading a ball through a crowded midfield to Max Nzengeli. Nzengeli\u2019s cut-back found Duke Abuya, who lashed a low, powerful strike into the bottom corner.<\/p>\n

The contest was effectively ended as a spectacle just two minutes later. Nzengeli was again at the heart of the move, feeding Kibwana Shomari, whose slick pass invited Zouzoua to finish. The Ivorian playmaker fired a crisp shot into the far corner to send the hosts into the interval with a commanding 3-0 lead.<\/p>\n

The 79th minute saw Prince Dube slot in Young Africans\u2019 fourth goal, finishing off a slick move orchestrated by Mudathir Yahya and Duke Abuya. Yanga\u2019s hunger for goals remained insatiable, and they found a fifth just sixty seconds later.<\/p>\n

This time, the spark came from the bench in the form of newly-signed Angolan international Laurindo Aur\u00e9lio. The striker, a marquee arrival in the January window from Poland\u2019s Radomiak Radom, dazzled on the left wing, weaving through a static Mashujaa defence before cutting back a precise delivery for Yahya to tap into an empty net.<\/p>\n

The record champions saved the best for last, adding a sixth in stoppage time through sheer persistence. After Allan Okello\u2019s stinging free-kick was brilliantly parried by Erick Johola, Aur\u00e9lio was the sharpest man in the box. The Angolan reacted instinctively to pounce on the rebound, rifling the ball past the helpless goalkeeper to cap a dream debut and a statement victory for the league leaders.<\/p>\n
