High Court Judge Ephery Kisanya has emphasized the need for court brokers and process servers to maintain professionalism and adhere to legal standards. Speaking at a training session in Dar es Salaam, he highlighted that their roles are crucial in safeguarding citizens’ rights and ensuring justice. The training aims to equip participants with skills to enhance service delivery and uphold ethical,<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Africa-Press – Tanzania. <\/strong> <\/span>THE High Court Judge in charge of the Corruption and Economic Crimes Division, Ephery Kisanya, has urged court brokers and process servers to uphold professionalism, legal standards and ethical conduct in executing their duties to safeguard citizens\u2019 rights and avoid unnecessary disputes.<\/p>\n

Opening the 16th training session for court brokers and process servers in Dar es Salaam, Judge Kisanya stressed the importance of adhering to the rules, procedures and guidelines provided during the training, noting that strict compliance will enhance efficiency, integrity and fairness in the justice system.<\/p>\n

He underscored the weight of the role played by brokers and process servers, explaining that their work directly touches on people\u2019s rights and freedoms, and therefore demands the highest level of diligence and responsibility.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor justice to be effectively served, every step in the legal process must be handled with accuracy and integrity,\u201d he said, adding that failure to follow established procedures can compromise cases and erode public trust in the judiciary.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, a lecturer from the Institute of Judicial Administration (IJA) Lushoto, Fatuma Mgomba, called on participants to take the training seriously so as to perform their duties in line with the law and established regulations.<\/p>\n

Some participants expressed optimism over the programme, saying it will sharpen their skills and improve service delivery. Asia Abdul noted that the training will boost her efficiency at work, while Ano Mwamsiku said the knowledge gained will enable them to discharge their responsibilities with greater professionalism.<\/p>\n

The training programme is aimed at equipping participants with the necessary skills to carry out court brokerage and document service duties in accordance with legal standards, ethical principles and the broader goal of ensuring justice.<\/p>\n

The role of court brokers and process servers is vital in the legal system, as they facilitate the delivery of legal documents and ensure that justice is served effectively. In Tanzania, the judiciary has been working to enhance the professionalism of these roles to build public trust and improve the overall efficiency of the justice system. Training programs like the one recently held in Dar es Salaam are part of ongoing efforts to ensure that legal processes are conducted with integrity and adherence to established standards.<\/p>\n
